I interned and freelanced at The Halifax Daily News in 2006. In addition to coverage of press briefings, a court case, and events happening in HRM, I wrote a front page story about a Norwalk virus outbreak at the QEII Health Sciences Centre and a profile of a Halifax Explosion survivor. One of my stories was picked up by Canwest.
